I’m sure many of you have heard of this glorious thing called goat yoga. If you haven’t, allow me to clue you in. Goat yoga is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a yoga class, only you are surrounded by little goats. And it is amazing! In addition to being a fun workout, yoga with goats provides animal therapy that can reduce the stress brought on by day-to-day life.

So when a coworker told me about a farm nearby that offered these classes, I immediately signed up. The class was an hour long, and was about 75% yoga and 25% goat cuddling. While some were trying to follow the pose sequence, many simply sat on their mats and fed the animals. The class I took was suitable for beginners and experienced yogis, alike. No matter your style, the instructor encourages you to do what feels best for you.
